The Recore Mattress’s three layers of foam absorb a moderate amount of motion, limiting the vibrations that travel across the surface of the mattress. A sleeper shouldn’t feel significant motion when their partner moves during the night. However, the responsive latex comfort layer does not eliminate all motion transfer, so a sleeper might still feel some vibrations when their partner changes positions. This motion isolation is similar to other models with latex comfort layers, but models with memory foam or polyfoam comfort layers often absorb more motion.

Answer a few questions to find the right mattress for your unique needs
Sleeping Style and Body Weight
Side Sleepers
Thanks to the cradling of the 1.5-inch latex comfort layer and 2-inch polyfoam transition, the Recore Mattress helps take some of the pressure off of a side sleeper’s shoulders and hips. These areas are usually particularly prone to pressure buildup due to their width, but the Recore redistributes the sleeper’s weight over the surface of the mattress to relieve the sharp pressure points often caused by side sleeping. The polyfoam core also limits how far a side sleeper’s shoulders and hips sink in, supporting better spinal alignment.
With its medium firm feel, the Recore may be a strong option for side sleepers from all weight groups. Those who weigh under 105 kilograms are likely to get an exceptional balance of conforming and support for a combination of pressure relief and proper spinal alignment. Individuals who weigh over 105 kilograms may still enjoy pressure relief, but they could experience sagging near their hips and shoulders that affects their spinal alignment.
Back Sleepers
Many back sleepers can get the even support they need from the Recore Mattress. At 1.5 inches thick, the comfort layer is relatively thin. This limits how far a back sleeper’s hips sink in before they reach the firmer transition layer and core. Since sagging around the hips could put a strain on a back sleeper’s spine, support in this area is essential for a back sleeper to maintain their natural spinal alignment.
Back sleepers who weigh under 60 should get the most support. While the comfort layer softens the surface of the mattress for added comfort, the medium firm feel is firm enough that back sleepers in this weight group shouldn’t experience much if any sagging near their hips. Individuals who weigh between 60 and 105 kilograms could sink into the mattress a little too deeply near their hips, but this shouldn’t impact their spinal alignment significantly. People who weigh more than 105 kilograms may experience more significant sagging.
Stomach Sleepers
Since it has a medium firm feel, the Recore Mattress is likely to be softer than ideal for most stomach sleepers. Stomach sleepers usually need a firmer mattress for extra support near the middle of the bed. This is because most individuals carry much of their weight near their hips and bellies, which can pull them too deeply into the mattress when they sleep on their stomachs.
The Recore’s latex comfort layer adds cushioning that many stomach sleepers may find comfortable. While the firmer polyfoam transition layer and core limit sinkage, some stomach sleepers could still experience sagging near their midsections. This effect may be most pronounced for individuals who weigh over 60 kilograms, especially those with extra weight near the middle of their bodies. Stomach sleepers who weigh less than 60 kilograms should enjoy great support, but some may still notice slight sagging near their midsections.

Recore Mattress Review Breakdown
Three layers of foam make up the Recore Mattress, combining cooling, contouring, and support.
The comfort layer uses 1.5 inches of synthetic latex, which contours to relieve pressure while providing a bit of bounce. A graphite infusion helps transfer excess heat away from the sleeper’s and towards air channels so that it can escape from the sleep surface.
A 2-inch layer of polyfoam serves as the transition layer. It helps redistribute the sleeper’s weight for enhanced pressure relief while acting as a barrier between the comfort and support layers. An infusion of gel within the polyfoam further cools the mattress. The support core consists of 7 inches of polyfoam, which reinforces the surface of the mattress and absorbs motion.
The Recore Mattress is encased in a cover that is removable and machine-washable. It is made up of a blend of polyester, spandex, and poly-viscose. This material is breathable to allow cooling airflow into the mattress surface. Silver-coated threads within the cover have antimicrobial properties to resist microbe growth.
With a rating of around 6 on the 10-point firmness scale, the Recore Mattress has a medium firm feel. This is on the softer end of the average range, making it a popular firmness for individuals who weigh less than 105 kilograms and side sleepers from all weight groups.

Mattresses typically ship 1-7 business days after the customer places their order. Orders usually arrive 1-5 business days after they ship. Each mattress arrives compressed in a box and is delivered through FedEx.
Recore recommends that two people move the packaged mattress to the intended room before removing it from the box and placing the vacuum-sealed mattress on the foundation. Then, the first layer of plastic can be removed and the mattress can be unrolled. Finally, the inner layer of plastic can be removed to allow the mattress to decompress. Owners should allow at least 30 minutes for the mattress to expand before sleeping on it. The mattress should expand fully within 24 hours. Recore asks that customers keep the plastic bag in case they choose to return their mattress during the trial period.
Recore does not currently offer White Glove delivery or old mattress removal.
The Recore Mattress has a 120-night sleep trial during which customers can try the mattress at home. Customers must try the mattress for 30 nights before initiating a return. If they are not satisfied, they can return the mattress during the eligible window for a full refund of the purchase price. Recore will arrange to pick up the discarded mattress. Returned mattresses are donated or recycled.
Customers who have previously returned a Recore Mattress may not be eligible. Mattresses that are damaged or stained are not returnable.

This warranty protects the original mattress owner against qualifying defects, which include indentations over 1 inch (2 inches with commercial or institutional use) for the first 10 years of the warranty period and 2 inches (3 inches with commercial or institutional use) for the last 5 years of the warranty window. Flaws that lead to cracking or splitting of the foam and defects in the fabric and zipper of the cover may also qualify for warranty coverage.
To qualify, mattresses must be fully unpacked within two weeks of the delivery date. They must be used on a proper foundation and be free from abuse and misuse. Photos of the mattress will be required to process any claims.
For the first 10 years of the warranty, Recore will repair or replace mattresses with covered defects. For the final 5 years, owners will be responsible for 75% of the original purchase price for repairs or replacements. Commercial and institutional orders will be assessed the following charges for repairs or replacements of qualifying defects: 25% of the original purchase price during the first 5 years, 50% of the original purchase price between years 6 and 10, and 75% of the original purchase price from years 11 through 15.
