The DreamCloud Premier is the newest mattress from DreamCloud, improving upon the brand’s original design. The high profile of the mattress includes a Euro pillow top for top-notch pressure relief and motion isolation. DreamCloud offers a generous 365-night sleep trial and lifetime warranty for the DreamCloud Mattress and the DreamCloud Premier, speaking to the quality and durability of both models. In addition to the DreamCloud and the DreamCloud Premier mattresses, the company’s product line includes bedding and bed frames.
When comparing the DreamCloud Mattress and the DreamCloud Premier, shoppers will note that the DreamCloud Premier has an upgraded construction and slightly higher price tag. The DreamCloud Premier, which we cover in this review, has sturdy edge support, an evenly quilted pillow top, and layers of memory foam and polyfoam for pressure relief. Both mattresses are medium firm.
Like many hybrids, the DreamCloud Premier offers strong temperature regulation for sleepers. The combination of foam and coil layers ensures a balance of contouring and support. We’ll break down the pricing, construction, and performance ratings of the DreamCloud Premier. Based on extensive product testing and research, we’ll also make recommendations based on sleeping style and body weight to help shoppers decide if this is the right hybrid mattress for them.
The DreamCloud Premier is a hybrid mattress with a 15-inch profile. It is constructed with six layers, including memory foam, polyfoam, and a supportive coil base. With a quilted pillow top, the DreamCloud Premier offers moderate contouring and top-notch pressure relief. It has a medium firm (6) rating that provides full-body support for a variety of sleepers.
The cashmere blend cover is light and breathable and it wicks away moisture and heat for a cooling feel. The cover is quilted evenly with memory foam that cradles the body and cushions the shoulders and hips. That said, the Euro top does not hug the body or allow sleepers to sink in too deeply, so air can still circulate around the body. This lack of sink also makes it easier to move around the mattress as needed.
Beneath the quilted Euro top is a layer of point-activated gel memory foam, which offers additional pressure relief while drawing heat away from the body. A transition layer of conventional foam helps minimize motion transfer and prevents sleepers from sinking into the coil base.
The coils used in the DreamCloud Premier are individually encased, so they respond to movements and offer support while minimizing motion transfer. A double row rim of thicker coils encase the perimeter of the support core, boosting the amount of edge support the mattress provides and ensuring sleepers can comfortably sleep near the edge of the bed. The coils add airflow throughout the mattress, helping to dissipate excess body heat and keep sleepers comfortable. A layer of conventional foam reinforces the coil base and helps isolate movements.
The foams used to construct the DreamCloud Premier are CertiPUR-US certified, so the mattress is free of a number of harmful chemicals and low in volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The high profile of the mattress will necessitate deep pocket fitted sheets.

Though the DreamCloud Premier is more expensive than the DreamCloud, it is still competitively priced for a hybrid mattress. DreamCloud operates exclusively online, meaning it does not have the overhead costs that companies with brick and mortar locations do. This allows the company to offer affordable hybrid models. As a result, shoppers can expect to spend less on a DreamCloud Premier mattress than they might on other luxury hybrid models.
The DreamCloud Premier is produced in all six standard mattress sizes. Like many hybrid models, a queen size DreamCloud Premier weighs close to 100 pounds. This is an important consideration for shoppers who are looking for a lightweight mattress that is easy to move.
DreamCloud offers seasonal promotions and discounts that further reduce the retail price listed in the following table. It is rare for shoppers to have to pay the full retail price.

The DreamCloud Premier is a good choice for nearly all sleeping styles and body types, as it has a medium firm feel and strong support system that both work to meet a variety of different preferences. That said, there are special considerations for each sleeping position, which we’ll break down further here. Keep in mind that these are general recommendations, and shoppers should consider their unique needs.
Side Sleepers: Side sleepers need a contouring mattress that relieves pressure points and the DreamCloud Premier delivers. We find it’s a good choice for side sleepers who weigh less than 130 pounds, and an even better choice for those who weigh more than 130 pounds. The foam comfort system provides standout pressure relief, especially at the shoulders and hips. Since these areas press more deeply into the mattress for side sleepers, they need to be properly cushioned.
The foam pillow top of the DreamCloud Premier contours to the shape of the body and helps evenly distribute body weight. Side sleepers need even weight distribution and full-body support to keep the spine aligned. The foam layers of the DreamCloud Premier prevent sinking in too deeply, and the coil base ensures side sleepers are properly supported.
Back Sleepers: The DreamCloud Premier is highly rated for back sleepers, as the contouring foam layers relieve pressure on the lower back. Back sleepers need proper lumbar support to help maintain a neutral posture as they sleep. While the Euro pillow top conforms to the shape of the body for pressure relief, the supportive foam transition layer prevents sinking in excessively. The coils offer additional support for back sleepers.
With its high profile and supportive layers, we found that the DreamCloud Premier is a good choice for back sleepers of all body weights. The foam layers are soft and conforming enough for back sleepers who weigh less than 130 pounds, while still offering plenty of support for sleepers who weigh more.
Stomach Sleepers: Stomach sleepers need support underneath their hips and abdomens in order to help keep the spine aligned. The DreamCloud Premier offers a balance of support for the lower body and cushioning for the upper body. The foam comfort layers conform to the chest and shoulders for pressure relief, while preventing the abdomen and hips from sinking in deeply.
Stomach sleepers who weigh less than 230 pounds are more likely to benefit from the medium firm feel of the DreamCloud Premier. Those who weigh more than 230 pounds may find that the mattress feels a bit too soft. While they will still be supported by the comfort system and coil base, these sleepers often benefit more from a firm (7-8) mattress.
