At SleepFoundation.org, we conduct extensive first-person experience tests on all but a select few products. This hands-on approach allows us to provide accurate, data-driven recommendations for mattresses, pillows, sheets, and other sleep essentials.
Guidelines for our testing methodology are as follows:
Every member of our team brings years of industry experience and knowledge to our hands-on evaluations. In addition to testing products, we’ve spoken to sleep experts and toured manufacturing sites.
Our testers fall into different categories based on body type, sleep position, and personal preferences. This level of diversity helps to ensure our product ratings are holistic and inclusive of all sleepers.
Each type of sleep product is tested using a unique set of performance criteria. We also assign ratings based on feedback from testers who fall into specific categories based on weight and sleep position (i.e. side sleepers who weigh 130 to 230 pounds).
We do not personally test CPAP equipment, anti-snoring mouthguards, supplements, and other medical devices that require a doctor's prescription. Rather than using specific rating criteria, we rely on our team's extensive knowledge of sleep products and medical industry standards to pair each reader with the right devices. These evaluations are also based on material and design quality, features, and other noteworthy product attributes.
The Keetsa Supreme Mattress is a plush all-foam model that cradles the body. Its medium soft (4) feel and generous memory foam comfort system combine for close-conforming pressure relief and exceptional motion isolation for sleepers who share their bed.

Founded in 2007, Keetsa is a direct-to-consumer mattress company that produces hybrid and all-foam models with varying firmness levels to accommodate different sleep needs. The Keetsa Supreme is the softer of the brand’s two all-foam options.
This model has a medium soft feel, which equates to a 4 on our 10-point mattress firmness scale where 1 is the softest and 10 is the firmest
We conducted a round of evaluations on the Keetsa Supreme in our Seattle Test Lab to assess its performance and determine who it may be best for. We’ll go over those results, the opinions of our testers, key details of the construction, and the specifics of relevant policies to help you decide if the Keetsa Supreme is the mattress you’re looking for.

Testing Team Takeaways
To test the Keetsa Supreme, we had three people on our testing team each take the bed home with them for one week. Here are their initial observations.

“I slept really well on the Keetsa Supreme. There was never too much pressure around my hips or shoulders, and I didn’t really notice any movement coming from the opposite side of the bed.”

“For a model on the plusher side, the Keetsa Supreme was surprisingly supportive. I did sink in more than I’d like when nearing the edge, but I didn’t feel like it interfered with my sleep.”

Side Sleepers
The Keetsa Supreme is an excellent match for many side sleepers. Its 4-inch memory foam comfort system provides ample contouring to redistribute pressure and limit uncomfortable hot spots. Given the surface’s medium soft (4) feel, virtually all side sleepers can sink in significantly for deep cradling.
Our side sleepers under 130 pounds noticed the most comfortable balance of softness and support. While team members weighing 130 pounds or more also found the bed comfortable for side sleeping, some felt that a slightly firmer feel would make it easier to maintain good posture.
Back Sleepers
Some back sleepers, especially those under 130 pounds, will enjoy the Keetsa Supreme’s plush feel and close conforming. The 4-inch memory foam comfort system can mold to the spine’s curvature, which may help support the lower back.
As a result of its medium soft (4) feel, our testers’ opinions on the Keetsa Supreme’s performance for back sleeping corresponded to their body types. Lighter individuals gave the mattress higher marks, but it earned slightly lower ratings from heavier team members. All of our testers found the mattress comfortable enough for back sleeping, but the support level was closest to ideal for those under 130 pounds.
Stomach Sleepers
Stomach sleepers typically need firmer support than those who favor other positions, so the Keetsa Supreme’s medium soft (4) feel is likely to be on the low end for many. The close-conforming memory foam may feel soft and comfortable, but weight around their midsections could cause excessive sinkage.
Our stomach-sleeping team members under 130 pounds were most satisfied with the Keetsa Supreme, with some over 130 pounds noting difficulty maintaining good posture. However, our testers did note that the Keetsa Supreme felt somewhat more supportive than many mattresses with similar firmness levels thanks to the model’s supportive polyfoam core. This may make it a good match for stomach sleepers who favor a plusher-than-average feel.
Mattress Performance
In addition to the hands-on feedback from our team, we conduct a number of quantitative tests in our Test Lab. The below ratings are based on the experience of our testers.
Motion Isolation
9
/ 10
“Given its plush feel and memory foam comfort layers, it didn’t surprise me that the Keetsa Supreme absorbed vibrations exceptionally well.” – Mary
Like many all-foam models, the Keetsa Supreme stands out for its motion isolation. Memory foam absorbs and muffles movement, so very few vibrations spread across the surface of the bed. This is especially pronounced on the Keetsa Supreme because the comfort system is fairly thick at 4 inches deep. The polyfoam support system also limits the transfer of any movement that reaches the support core.
Team members detected very little motion when testing partners moved around on the bed, and our vibration sensors also picked up minimal movement.
Because of this strong motion isolation, couples sharing a mattress may find the Keetsa Supreme helps prevent unnecessary interruptions to their sleep.
Pressure Relief
9
/ 10
“I’m pretty used to experiencing pressure buildup around my shoulders and hips, but I barely noticed any with the Keetsa Supreme.” – Logan
The Keetsa Supreme has a lot going for it when it comes to pressure relief. Its medium soft (4) feel allows deep cradling, the thick memory foam comfort system molds closely to the sleeper’s body, and the all-foam construction helps distribute weight more evenly across the sleep surface.
Mapping pressure distribution with a specialized mat, we noticed minimal buildup around heavier areas like the hips and shoulders. Our team members also reported that they didn’t experience any notable discomfort in pressure-prone regions.
Temperature Control
6.5
/ 10
“Did I notice some heat buildup? Yes. Did I wake up hot or sweaty? Definitely not.” – Brad
While the Keetsa Supreme does not retain heat to the same extent as many plush models with thick layers of memory foam, some warmth may linger on the surface of the bed.
Memory foam frequently traps heat because it molds so closely to the sleeper’s body. This can be especially pronounced on softer models because sleepers can sink in more deeply. The Keetsa Supreme incorporates some design elements to help counteract this. Its fabric blend cover includes breathable, moisture-wicking linen and Tencel fibers. Additionally, a fiber padding layer quilted into the cover is designed to add breathability and moisture-wicking properties.
Our testers said they didn’t feel uncomfortably warm, but our temperature readings showed mild to moderate lingering heat on the mattress surface.
Edge Support
6
/ 10
“I didn’t feel like I needed to avoid the perimeter of the bed altogether, but the edge compressed enough that I felt more secure sleeping a little further in.” – Brad
Because of the Keetsa Supreme’s all-foam construction, thick comfort system, and medium soft (4) feel, many individuals may notice compression along the perimeter of the bed. For some, this may make the edge seem less stable for sitting or sleeping, which may in turn make the bed feel slightly smaller.
In our testing, perceived edge support was closely linked to body weight. While many team members under 130 pounds were able to use the full surface of the bed confidently, heavier testers tended to feel less secure along the perimeter.
Ease of Movement
5.5
/ 10
“I changed positions without any problems. I wouldn’t say the mattress made those movements easier, but at the same time, it didn’t restrict them either.” – Mary
Ease of movement isn’t the Keetsa Supreme’s strong suit, but compared to similarly constructed models, it exceeds expectations in this area.
Because memory foam responds more slowly than many mattress materials, it can feel like you have to escape your own body impression to change positions, especially with a thick memory foam comfort system like the Keetsa Supreme’s. Additionally, this model’s medium soft (4) feel lets sleepers sink in quite a bit, so the deep, close hug could add to the effect.
However, our testers didn’t report much difficulty moving around on the surface thanks to the coil support core. While the model didn’t respond quickly to changes in pressure, it also didn’t make our team members feel “trapped in the bed” like a lot of the other plush memory foam mattresses we’ve tested.
Durability
7
/ 10
The average all-foam mattress is typically projected to last around 6 to 7 years, and the Keetsa Supreme is likely to match this lifespan. It is normal for foam to break down and impressions to form over time, but we’d expect the Keetsa Supreme to hold up well with normal use and routine care such as rotating your mattress every six months.
The Keetsa Supreme Mattress is a medium soft (4) all-foam model that measures 12 inches thick.

This mattress starts with a cover consisting of a blend of Tencel, polyester, and linen. Quilted inside the cover is a carbon rayon pad designed to act as a fire barrier. Fiberfill padding also allows air circulation so that heat can dissipate.
The comfort system uses 4 inches of memory foam that contours closely to the shape of the sleeper and alleviates pressure along the spine. A dense polyfoam support core stabilizes the surface while limiting motion transfer.

Trial, Shipping, and Warranty Policies
Availability
The Keetsa Supreme is available through the official Keetsa website. You can also see the mattress in person at Keetsa’s brick-and-mortar showroom in New York City.
Shipping
Keetsa offers free shipping within the contiguous United States. While shipping is available to Alaska and Hawaii, additional charges apply. Orders are typically delivered within 5 to 10 business days. You will get a FedEx tracking number when it ships.
Each mattress ships compressed and rolled in a box, and it will be delivered to wherever you typically receive large packages. You may need two physically able adults to move the mattress to your room of choice before sliding it out of the box, unrolling it, and carefully removing the plastic wrapping. The mattress will begin expanding immediately, with most of that expansion complete within the first few hours. However, it may take weeks to reach its full size.
Additional Services
Standard delivery is via FedEx, but customers located near a retail location can reach out to that store for other options, available for a fee.
Sleep Trial
Keetsa offers a 90-night trial period with a 30-night required break-in period.
If you decide the Keetsa Supreme isn’t right for you, Keetsa suggests consulting with one of their team members for more information on your options, such as buying a new comfort layer.
However, if you still want to return your Keetsa Supreme, you can do so in the eligible time period by contacting a Keetsa representative. A 10% fee applies for returns and exchanges.
Warranty
The Keetsa Supreme comes with a 12-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects that include open seams that damage the foam and affect the support, visible and permanent compression over 1.5 inches deep, and variations in size over 2 inches still present after 30 days of use (measured from the center of the bed).
You may incur transportation and removal costs, though Keetsa will cover them if the warranty claim is valid. In the event of a qualifying defect, the company may repair or replace the mattress.
This policy applies to original consumer purchasers with proof of purchase. The mattress must be used with proper, non-flexible support. Stains, water marks, and signs of abuse, misuse, or other damage may void the warranty. Failure to rotate the mattress every 6 months may also void the warranty.
