The memory foam models of the CopperFlex and CopperFlex Pro provide great motion isolation, with our testers detecting almost no movement across the bed. This is due to the all-foam construction, especially the memory foam layer, which keeps vibrations from rippling across the mattress surface. Both of these models are a good fit for couples who want to decrease the chances of sleep disruption from their bed partner’s movement.
The hybrid models transfer more motion because of the bounciness generated when the coils compress and release. Our testing team found that the foam layers in the comfort system kept motion transfer in check, but they definitely noticed more vibrations on the hybrid models than the all-foam options.

Our team was impressed by the pressure relief from the CopperFlex Mattresses, especially the all-foam models. They found that these beds dramatically reduced pressure around the shoulders and hips by gently hugging the body.
The zoned polyfoam layer gives the mattress extra cushioning for the lumbar spine, and the medium firm (6) feel prevents sagging that can put strain on the lower back.
Overall, we found that the all-foam models provided more pressure relief, but the hybrids were still supportive enough for most testers.

Temperature Control7.0/10
Temperature control is one of the biggest differences between the all-foam and the hybrid CopperFlex models. Our testing found that the all-foam models trap quite a bit more body heat. That’s because heat can build up in the foam base. In the hybrid, though, air can circulate around the coils to improve ventilation.
The CopperFlex Pro models include a speciality GlacioTex fabric in the cover designed to promote cooler sleep, but we still found that hot sleepers could overheat on the all-foam model.
Logan Foley, Executive Product Director: I didn’t wake up in a sweat on any of the CopperFlex beds, but the coolest sleep for me was definitely on the hybrid models.
Edge Support7.0/10
Our testing team found that the edges were much sturdier on hybrid CopperFlex models because their coil layer is reinforced around the perimeter. On the all-foam models, though, the edges tend to sink and buckle under weight, especially for people over 230 pounds.
This performance is similar to most all-foam mattresses, which tend to have mediocre edge support. However, the majority of our testers said they didn’t feel unstable – they just wished that the edge felt a bit more robust, so that it was easier to get out of bed. This may be a concern primarily among people who have health issues that limit their physical mobility.

Ease of Movement6.5/10
Most of our testers found that the CopperFlex Mattresses could be difficult to move on. This was especially true of the all-foam models.
As the top layers of the mattress conform to the body, they can create a barrier when you want to adjust your sleeping position. However, this was less of a problem on the CopperFlex, which is medium firm (6), than on many softer mattresses.
Our testers who prioritize ease of movement preferred the CopperFlex hybrids. In these models, the springy feel of the coils helped overcome much of the hug from the foam when they wanted to move around in bed.

The CopperFlex Memory Foam’s expected lifespan is about 5 to 6 years with proper use and regular rotations. This is average for an all-foam model. The topmost layers will eventually develop impressions and indentations that make the surface feel uneven, but the base layer is dense enough to provide several years of solid reinforcement.

Our testing process found that the CopperFlex Mattresses are a great fit for side sleepers who weigh 130 pounds or more.
These mattresses provide gentle cushioning that side sleepers need to ease pressure around their shoulders and hips. Because the CopperFlex beds are medium firm (6) and contain a zoned transitional layer, they prevent deep sinkage into the mattress that can hinder spinal alignment.
In our testing, side sleepers over 230 pounds tended to prefer the hybrid models, which gives a touch of extra sturdiness from the thick coils. Most of the side sleepers on our team who weigh under 130 pounds felt that the CopperFlex Mattresses were a bit too firm for optimal comfort.
Back Sleepers
In our testing, the highest scores for the CopperFlex came from back sleepers under 130 pounds, but those between 130 and 230 pounds also received adequate support. Almost all of our back sleepers over 230 pounds felt that the mattresses lacked ideal firmness.
Back sleepers need the right balance of cushioning for the lower back as well as firm support to keep the spine aligned. The CopperFlex achieved this balance for many back sleepers by combining light contouring with a medium firm (6) feel. For those up to 230 pounds, the mattress prevented the midsection from sinking too deeply into the mattress.
Stomach Sleepers
We found that the CopperFlex and CopperFlex Pro are best for stomach sleepers under 130 pounds. Although some stomach sleepers between 130 and 230 pounds liked the mattress, most testers of 130 pounds or more said that it wasn’t firm enough for their needs.
A key issue for stomach sleepers is keeping their body in an even plane, which requires a firmer mattress surface. Because people with a lower body weight don’t sink into the mattress as much, the CopperFlex was more supportive for stomach sleepers under 130 pounds. The hybrid CopperFlex Pro was especially popular because of its combination of stability, light cushioning, bounce, and zoned lumbar support.

The CopperFlex Mattresses are available in all 50 U.S. states and Canada. The mattresses are sold online through the Brooklyn Bedding website. They can also be found in the company’s nationwide network of showrooms.
Shipping
Brooklyn Bedding includes free ground shipping for customers in the contiguous 48 U.S. states. There is an extra charge for deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada.
The mattress usually ships between 5 and 10 business days after you place an order. When the mattress ships, Brooklyn Bedding provides a tracking number so that you can see when it will arrive.
The mattress will arrive in a large but compact box that is delivered to your doorstep. Inside the box, the mattress is rolled, compressed, and sealed in plastic.
Setting up the mattress is straightforward. You bring the box to your bedroom, remove all the packaging, and allow the mattress to grow back to its full size. It usually takes two people to move and set up the mattress.

Sleep Trial
All CopperFlex Mattresses come with a 365-night sleep trial. Brooklyn Bedding requires that you try the mattress for 30 nights before requesting a return.
If you wish to return the mattress, the company will arrange to pick it up from your home.
Warranty
The CopperFlex Mattresses come with a lifetime limited warranty that is prorated based on how long you’ve owned the mattress.
During the first 10 years, Brooklyn Bedding will repair or replace the mattress at no charge if it is found to be defective. Starting in year 11, they will replace a defective mattress, but you have to pay between 50% and 75% of the purchase price of a new mattress most comparable to your current model.
The warranty includes coverage of serious defects in materials and manufacturing, but it does not cover normal wear and tear or damage from spills, accidents, or negligence.
