Established in 2007, PlushBeds is a California-based mattress manufacturer committed to producing high-quality, organic mattresses. The Natural Bliss is one of the company’s latex mattress options, and it is constructed from organic, eco-friendly materials. It’s a hypoallergenic mattress option that contains zero animal products or harsh chemicals. Plushbeds also makes the Botanical Bliss, another latex mattress and the Luxury Bliss, a latex hybrid.
The PlushBeds Natural Bliss mattress is available in three thicknesses (6, 8, and 10 inches) and four firmness options (Soft, Medium, Med-Firm, and Extra-Firm). All are made with organic cotton covers, and organic Talalay and Dunlop latex; the 6-inch mattress is Dunlop latex only. One of the more unique aspects of the Natural Bliss is its adjustability. The cover zips off, allowing you to rearrange the latex layers to create your desired firmness.
The Natural Bliss mattress comes in four firmness levels (soft, medium, medium firm, and firm) that can be adjusted to your own preference. The right firmness depends on your body type and preferred sleep position.

How the PlushBeds Natural Bliss Scored
Motion Isolation6.5/10
Overall, Natural Bliss mattresses offer good motion isolation. Couples report feeling little motion transfer when their partner moves or gets out of bed, so their sleep isn’t disrupted.
The exceptions are the 6” mattresses in firm and extra firm, which have slightly more motion transfer than the softer, thicker mattresses.
Pressure Relief7.5/10
With the exception of the 6” mattress, Natural Bliss mattresses offer good pressure relief. The thinnest mattresses provide less conforming than the other options, so the pressure relief is only average. For the most contouring and cradling to relieve pressure on the hips, shoulders, and other pressure points, choose a thicker Natural Bliss.
Temperature Control8.0/10
Overall, the Natural Bliss sleeps fairly cool for most people. Latex is naturally cooler than materials like memory foam, and its open-cell construction allows for more airflow so sleepers won’t overheat.
Edge Support7.0/10
Like most latex mattresses, Natural Bliss offers moderate edge support. The edges of the softest mattresses have the least amount of support, and sinkage is to be expected. Even on the firmer options, edge support is only average, with those who like to sleep closer to the edge of the bed reporting some feelings of roll-off.
Ease of Movement7.5/10
Overall, sleepers find that it’s fairly easy to move around on the Natural Bliss mattresses. Latex offers some conforming, but sleepers are less likely to feel as if they are sleeping “in” the mattress or as if they are stuck. Sleeping on latex is closer to sleeping “on” a mattress.
Durability9.0/10
As an all-latex mattress made with organic materials, we expect the Plushbeds Natural Bliss to have an excellent lifespan of at least 10 years. The thinnest model may wear out a bit sooner due to its thinner comfort layer, while the thicker models hold up better over time. We don’t expect firmness to have a significant impact on durability in this mattress, since natural latex is pretty durable, even when it’s slightly less dense.

8″ Model
Side Sleepers
Side sleepers who weigh less than 230 pounds tend to find the Natural Bliss the most comfortable. Side sleepers weighing over 230 pounds are not suited to the soft mattress, as it does not provide enough support, despite providing good contouring.
Back Sleepers
The soft variant is best for back sleepers who weigh less than 130 pounds. The mattress conforms to the body too close to provide the necessary support that heavier back sleepers need to keep their spines in alignment.
Stomach Sleepers
Stomach sleepers of all weights gave the soft Natural Bliss low marks. Although the mattress provides plenty of cushioning and contouring for comfort, the soft mattress in any thickness didn’t provide enough support to prevent the midsection from sinking.
10″ Model
Side Sleepers
Side sleepers under 130 pounds give the medium firmness Natural Bliss excellent ratings, thanks to its extra contouring that provides plenty of pressure relief. Individuals who weigh between 130 and 230 pounds were comfortable on every thickness, while those over 230 pounds distinctly preferred the thicker models. For heavier individuals, the extra thickness provides much-needed support to keep the hips and shoulders from sinking in too far.
Back Sleepers
Back sleepers who weigh less than 130 pounds found the best combination of support and comfort from the medium version of the Natural Bliss. While the medium firmness offers some support for heavier sleepers, they’re better off going with a firmer model.
Stomach Sleepers
The medium firmness of the Natural Bliss is going to be most viable for stomach sleepers who weigh less than 130 pounds. Heavier stomach sleepers will find it lacking in support, leading to excessive sink.
12″ Model
Side Sleepers
Although heavier side sleepers gave the 6-inch medium firm Natural Bliss poor ratings, the thicker mattresses get positive ratings. For those over 230 pounds, the 8-inch and 10-inch medium firm mattresses offer plenty of cushioning, contouring, and support for proper alignment. Side sleepers who weigh less than 230 pounds also preferred the thicker variants of the medium firm Natural Bliss.
Back Sleepers
Overall, back sleepers under 230 pounds give the medium firm mattress good ratings, with the thicker models providing plenty of support. Heavier back sleepers only found adequate support on the thicker, 10-inch model.
Stomach Sleepers
The medium firm Natural Bliss gets good ratings for stomach sleepers under 230 pounds. Stomach sleepers who weigh more than 230 pounds found most models, however, are not supportive enough for the midsection, causing lower back discomfort.

Sleep Trial
PlushBeds offers a 100-night sleep trial with a 30-night mandatory break-in period. If you return the mattress during the first 30 nights, you’ll incur a $99 deduction from the refund. As part of the return, you box up the mattress and make it available for curbside pickup.
During the first 100 nights, you can also request a free comfort adjustment, meaning PlushBeds sends a new comfort layer with a different firmness feel.
Warranty
PlushBeds offers a 25-year warranty covering defects in materials and manufacturing. Coverage changes as time goes on.
Years 0-10: PlushBeds will repair or replace the mattress at no cost, the customer is responsible for transport costs.
Years 11-25: PlushBeds will repair or replace the mattress at a prorated cost (starting at 50% in year 11 and increasing by 3% each year), the customer is responsible for transport costs.
