Biography

Dr. Dustin Cotliar, MD, MPH, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with nearly a decade of clinical experience. His passion for sleep health was ignited during residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai- Beth Israel. Facing the challenges of irregular hours and night shifts, he was inspired to investigate techniques to improve his sleep quality and overall well-being.

Currently practicing in Boston, Dr. Cotliar holds a medical degree from the State University of NY (SUNY) Downstate School of Medicine and a master’s in public health from Columbia University. His contributions to health policy research has been cited by NPR, CNBC, Forbes, and The New York Times. Demonstrating his commitment to innovation, Dr. Cotliar recently won a clinical “hackathon” at MIT, showcasing his enthusiasm for AI and healthcare technology.

Driven by a personal connection to sleep apnea and a firm belief in the importance of sleep for overall well-being, Dr. Cotliar is dedicated to empowering patients through education and helping them achieve optimal sleep quality.
