- Temperature control: A great mattress resists overheating to help you avoid waking up in a sweat. To test this, we intentionally warm up the mattress and then use a thermometer to see how quickly it can dissipate the heat.
- Pressure relief: Our testing team analyzes pressure relief by linking a computer to a body-mapping pad on the mattress surface. When a sleeper lies down on the mattress, the pad lights up to show areas of excessive impact. Mattresses that contour to the body tend to deliver the best results during pressure relief tests.

Our Selection Process
