Comphy sells home products for personal and professional use. Founded by a former spa director, the company initially created products for the spa industry. However, when guests began requesting products for their own homes, Comphy shifted course and developed a new line of products for home use. In 2024, Comphy merged with Coop Sleep Goods.

Comphy sheets are designed to be soft, durable, and easy to maintain. Currently, the brand offers one sheet set known as the Comphy SoftSpa. Each item in this collection is made from breathable, hypoallergenic microfiber, which is similar in feel to 600 thread count cotton. Since these sheets are lighter than most standard cotton sheets and are made to wick away moisture, they are a very good option for hot sleepers.

Comphy sheets are intended to be wrinkle-free and are pre-treated for stain release to help maintain a clean appearance. Comphy’s sheet sets are also designed to be recyclable. Standard sets include a fitted sheet with a pocket depth of 18 inches. If you own a queen or king size mattress that measures 9 to 12 inches thick, you can opt select a set with a fitted sheet that has a 14-inch pocket depth. Split king sets with two fitted sheets are also available for couples who use adjustable beds.

We’ll examine the details of Comphy sheets and delve into the specifics of their pricing and performance. We’ll also explain proper care and cleaning techniques and explore the many factors to consider when buying new sheets.

Comphy Sheets Review Breakdown

The main factors to consider when choosing a Comphy SoftSpa Sheet Set are bed design and size, along with color preferences. Sets featuring fitted sheets with a 14-inch pocket depth are best suited to mattresses with profiles of 9 to 12 inches. This option is available for queen and king sizes. If you own a full or twin mattress, the fitted sheet for these sizes has a 15-inch pocket depth. Standard queen, king, and California king sets are available with an 18-inch fitted sheet.

The sheets and pillowcases in this collection are created using breathable microfiber with a twill weave, which makes them an excellent choice for people who sleep hot. Consumers who value easy-to-maintain products will also appreciate their wrinkle-free design and pre-treatment for stain release. The set comes in six sifferent colors.

Materials and Construction

A sheet set’s materials and construction can affect sleep quality. For example, if a material is not breathable, it may lead to hot sleeping. Similarly, some sleepers are sensitive to certain materials, like wool or linen, and may find them irritating. Others could experience discomfort from sheets made with low-quality materials.

The Comphy SoftSpa Sheet Set is made of microfiber woven in a twill weave, creating a soft and smooth feel that’s designed to feel similar to 600 thread count cotton. Microfiber is made with very fine polyester fibers. It is a long lasting and quick drying material, meaning this sheet set will likely have a long lifespan. The extra-fine weave of the sheets helps protect against allergens, like dust mites. The lightweight, wrinkle-free Comphy Sheet Set is pre-treated for stain release to make cleaning and maintenance easier.

Prices and Sizing

The Comphy SoftSpa Sheet Set is at the higher end of the price range for a microfiber sheet set. However, the sheets are designed for durability, so sleepers may get a better return on investment compared to a less expensive microfiber sheet set.

Most sets include a flat sheet, a fitted sheet, and two pillowcase. Twin sets comes with one pillowcase, and the split king set includes two twin XL fitted sheets, one king flat sheet, and two king pillowcases. Please note all sizes are priced the same regardless of which fitted sheet pocket depth you choose.

Care and Cleaning

To provide the best care, Comphy recommends washing the sheets regularly in a washing machine on a permanent press cycle with hot water, using a slow spin cycle if possible.

For best results, the brand recommends using a high-pH detergent or a non-chlorine bleach and washing the sheet set without other items in the machine. The sheets are pre-treated to repel stains. However, if any stains occur, it’s best to pre-treat them with a stain remover before washing.

After washing, use the permanent press cycle to dry the sheet set. For best results, set the machine to medium heat with a cool-down cycle and promptly remove the sheet set when it’s dry.
