Owned by Walmart, Allswell is a budget-friendly home goods brand that sells towels, robes, sheets, blankets, pillows, mattress toppers, and mattresses. Its mattress line includes three models: the Allswell, the Allswell Luxe, and the Allswell Supreme. All three models use a hybrid design but vary in their materials. Separate reviews on this site will examine the Allswell and the Allswell Luxe, but this review will focus solely on the Allswell Supreme.

The Allswell Supreme Mattress is the brand’s most premium model. As such, it is also Allswell’s most expensive model. The mattress is constructed of four main layers, including a Euro-style pillow top, a memory foam comfort layer infused with graphite and copper gel, an Energex foam transition layer, and a pocketed coil core. At 14 inches thick, the Supreme is Allswell’s highest-profile model, and it may require extra deep sheets.

We’ll examine the Allswell Supreme Mattress in-depth. We’ll discuss its construction, assess its performance, and summarize customer reviews and company policies. If you’re considering buying the Supreme Mattress, read on for more information.

Side Sleepers

The Allswell Supreme Mattress’s Euro-style pillow-top cushions a side sleeper’s pressure points, while its memory foam comfort layer adjusts to their shape and redistributes their weight to relieve pressure from their shoulders and hips. Thanks to its medium firm feel, side sleepers over 130 pounds will likely get a strong balance of contouring and support.

Side sleepers who weigh more than 130 pounds may sleep most comfortably on the Supreme. Its medium firm feel should allow most side sleepers in this weight group to sink in just the right amount for pressure relief and spinal support. Individuals who weigh under 130 pounds may sink in a little less and could have some slight pressure buildup near their shoulders and hips.

Back Sleepers

Back sleepers of all sizes will likely get enough cushioning and support from the Allswell Supreme. The Euro top softens the surface of the mattress and the memory foam comfort layer contours to the sleeper’s body. A transition layer of Energex foam gives extra contouring and support to promote better spinal alignment.

Individuals who weigh under 130 pounds and those who prefer a plush surface may feel the Supreme’s medium firm feel is too firm. Back sleepers who weigh over 230 pounds could experience some sagging near their hips, especially if they carry the bulk of their weight near their midsections.

Stomach Sleepers

Regardless of their body weight, an individual’s midsection is often the heaviest part of their body. When sleeping on their stomachs, this weight can lead to sagging near the hips.

The Allswell Supreme should provide enough support for stomach sleepers who weigh under 230 pounds. These individuals are likely to enjoy good cushioning with minimal sinkage, so they shouldn’t struggle to maintain good spinal alignment. The hips of stomach sleepers who weigh over 230 pounds may dip into the mattress a little too deeply, putting a strain on their spines.

Mattress Performance

In addition to the hands-on feedback from our team, we conduct a number of quantitative tests in our Test Lab. The below ratings are based on the experience of our testers.

Motion Isolation

6 / 10

The Allswell Supreme’s plush Euro-style pillow-top and its memory foam comfort layer minimize motion transfer by absorbing vibrations caused by one partner moving. People who tend to awaken easily may get a more restful night’s sleep on the Supreme. However, like most hybrid models, the Supreme is unlikely to eliminate motion transfer completely.

Since its Energex foam layer and coil core give the bed bounce, these components also contribute to some motion transfer. The coils are pocketed, which should limit the spread of motion across the bed, but sleepers will likely feel when their partner changes position during the night.

Pressure Relief

6.5 / 10

Its combination of a Euro top and a memory foam comfort layer gives the Allswell Supreme cushioning and contouring that can help relieve a sleeper’s pressure points. This degree of pressure relief is similar to that of many hybrid models.

A sleeper’s weight and preferred sleep position will also influence the amount of pressure that builds up. Side sleepers between 130 and 230 pounds will likely experience the most pressure relief since their curves should sink in enough to spread out their body weight across the mattress.

Stomach sleepers who weigh over 230 pounds may notice more pressure around their hips.

Temperature Control

7 / 10

The Allswell Supreme has moderate temperature regulation compared to other hybrid models.

Its coil core allows for significant airflow, so heat can dissipate away from the mattress. Copper gel and graphite infusions in the memory foam comfort layer help pull heat away from the sleeper’s body. However, the medium firm feel coupled with the conforming of the memory foam can lead to some heat retention.

The mattress is likely to sleep cool enough for most individuals, but those who are particularly prone to sleeping hot may prefer a model with less conforming, like the Allswell Luxe.

Edge Support

7 / 10

Like many competing hybrid models, the Allswell Supreme’s edge should be sturdy enough for most sleepers to use the full surface of the mattress. Reinforcement around the perimeter of the coil layer lends itself to minimal compression, with a more stable feel when a person sits or sleeps near the edge of the bed.

Ease of Movement

7 / 10

While the Allswell Supreme uses memory foam in its comfort layer, it does not restrict movement like many similarly constructed models.

Memory foam conforms in response to a sleeper’s weight and it typically regains its shape relatively slowly when that weight is removed, which can make it harder to change position.

However, the Allswell Supreme’s medium-firm feel doesn’t allow a lot of sinkage, so sleepers are unlikely to feel “trapped in the bed.” The responsive Energex transition layer and springy coil layer further add to the ease of movement.

Off-Gassing

6.5 / 10

A new mattress may release some odors when it’s first unpackaged. Smells are produced during the manufacturing process and frequently become trapped in the bed when it is compressed.

These smells are not usually seen as harmful for most people, but if you find them off-putting, you can air out your new mattress before bringing it into the bedroom. Some owners leave their new mattress in a separate room with good airflow to let the odors dissipate. This can be expected to take a few hours to a few days.

Since the Allswell Supreme has good air circulation through its coil core, it should air out relatively quickly, like most other hybrid models.

Allswell Supreme Mattress Review Breakdown

The Allswell Supreme Mattress uses more advanced, premium materials than the other models in Allswell’s lineup. Its top panel is quilted with a Euro-style pillow-top, which gives the surface a plusher feel. Next, a layer of memory foam gives deeper cradling. Infusions of copper gel and graphite in the foam wick away excess heat.

A 2-inch transition layer of Energex foam combines the pressure-relieving properties of memory foam with the responsiveness of latex while acting as a barrier between the comfort and support layers. The support core uses coils that are individually pocketed, reducing motion transfer while giving the bed a bouncy feel. Reinforcement around the perimeter of the layer adds edge support.

The Allswell Supreme Mattress rates at a 6 on the 10-point firmness scale. Sleepers of all sizes with any position preference often prefer mattresses in this firmness range. Its 14-inch profile combines cushioning, contouring, and support.

Sleep Trial

Customers can try the Allswell Supreme in their home during Allswell’s 100-night sleep trial. Allswell requests that customers sleep on their new mattress for at least 3 weeks before initiating a return. If a customer chooses to return their mattress during the trial window, they can receive a full refund of the mattress’s purchase price. Allswell’s local partner will work with the customer to schedule a time to remove the mattress.

Mattresses must still qualify for warranty coverage in order to be eligible for a return. This means that the mattress must have the law tag attached, must be free of physical damage, must have been used on a proper foundation, and must not have been used with an electric blanket or heating pad. Note that other terms and conditions may also apply. Each household may return only one mattress per year.

Warranty

The Allswell Supreme has a 10-year limited warranty. This warranty applies to the original mattress owner. Customers should keep their original invoice as proof of purchase.

Eligible defects include indentations greater than 1.5 inches. Gradual softening of the foam is not covered. Additionally, the warranty may be voided by removing the law tag, using the mattress without a proper foundation, using an electric blanket or heating pad, and abusing, misusing, or neglecting the mattress.

At its discretion, Allswell will either repair the mattress or issue a prorated refund if it finds a qualifying defect. The customer may be responsible for a transportation fee for a repaired or replaced mattress.
