Nectar Sleep is an online mattress company that specializes in memory foam models. The company quickly gained recognition with its flagship mattress, the Nectar, and subsequently with the Nectar Lush, which has since been replaced by the Nectar Premier, a plusher mattress optimized for side sleepers. Released in 2021, the Nectar Premier Copper boasts a taller profile with deeper contouring and advanced temperature regulation.
The mattress cover is made with a polyester and nylon blend, infused with copper fibers that are intended to provide a cooler sleep surface. In the comfort section, a layer of gel-infused memory foam with phase change material conforms to the sleeper’s body for deep pressure relief. This is followed by a transitional polyfoam layer and a 7-inch polyfoam support core.

The memory foam cradles the body to relieve pressure in sensitive areas, while the denser polyfoam base provides the necessary support to keep the spine aligned. These attributes make the mattress especially suitable for side sleepers, who often experience pressure buildup where the hips and shoulders come into contact with the mattress.
When it comes to maintaining a neutral temperature, the Nectar Copper Mattress performs better than most other memory foam mattresses.
Memory foam is notorious for retaining heat, and all-foam mattresses have little room for airflow due to their solid construction. This means memory foam mattresses are often poor at maintaining a cool temperature through the night.
By contrast, this mattress has a copper-infused cover designed to feel cool to the touch. To further combat heat retention, Nectar has also infused the memory foam with gel and phase change material. These materials are engineered to absorb the extra heat retained near a person’s body and dissipate it through the rest of the mattress to help keep the sleep surface cool
The Nectar Premier Copper Mattress offers little edge support. This may be a problem for those who sleep near the edge of the mattress, or who have trouble getting in and out of bed.
Foam mattresses in general are not known for their edge support, as they don’t tend to have any materials reinforcing the perimeter. With its medium firm feel and all-foam construction, the Nectar Premier Copper may compress too much when pressure is put on the edges. This can cause feelings of instability, especially for sleepers over 130 pounds.

The all-foam Nectar Premier Copper has a 14-inch profile with three layers in total. The mattress owes its name to the cover, a soft poly-blend infused with copper fibers.
A 4-inch memory foam layer infused with gel and phase change material makes up the bulk of the comfort system. These materials are designed to draw heat away from the sleeper in order to maintain a neutral temperature. Beneath this is a 3-inch layer of polyfoam that acts as a transition to the support core.

Availability
The Nectar Premier Copper can be purchased on the Nectar Sleep website, through online retailers, and in Nectar's physical stores across the U.S.
Shipping
Nectar ships mattresses for free to the contiguous U.S. via UPS Ground and FedEx. Mattresses are generally delivered within 7 to 14 business days. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is also possible for an extra non-refundable fee. Nectar does not ship to Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, or other U.S. territories.
To set up the mattress, take it out of the box, unroll it on the bed frame, and carefully remove the plastic wrapping. It takes 12 to 24 hours for the mattress to fully expand
Additional Services
For an extra $149, Nectar can coordinate White Glove delivery through a local provider. This service includes unboxing, unwrapping and unrolling the mattress. Removal of an old mattress is at the discretion of the White Glove service provider, so it may not be available everywhere. White Glove delivery fees are non-refundable
Sleep Trial
As with all its mattresses, Nectar offers a 365-night trial with free returns for customers in the contiguous U.S. Customers who aren’t satisfied with their Nectar mattress can return it for a full refund, or exchange it for a different model.
Once the mattress has been opened, Nectar asks that customers wait at least 30 days before initiating a return request. Dirty or damaged mattresses are not eligible for return.
Warranty
Nectar Sleep offers a limited lifetime warranty for original owners who purchased their mattress from Nectar Sleep or an authorized retailer.
During the first 10 years, Nectar Sleep will replace any mattress for free if the company deems it to be defective. After 10 years, Nectar will replace or repair the mattress for a $50 transportation fee each way. The transportation fee may be waived if the mattress is found defective. Alternately, customers can also choose to keep their defective mattress and receive a second, new Nectar mattress for 50% of the original purchase price.
The warranty covers visible indentations of at least 1.5 inches, as well as splitting or cracking in the foams and manufacturing defects in the cover. Damaged mattresses and those that have been used without a proper foundation are not eligible for warranty coverage.
