The Brentwood Home Oceano mattress measures in at 14 inches tall and puts an array of different materials to use in order to create its overall feel. Because it employs innerspring coils in its support core and has a substantial comfort system, the Oceano is classified as a hybrid mattress.
The cover of the Oceano is made with Tencel, a type of fabric that is derived from the pulp of Eucalyptus trees. This material is well-regarded for its softness as well as its breathability.
In its hybrid design, the Oceano’s comfort system has five separate layers, and the support core has three. In the comfort system, the top layer is made with wool that has been certified organic by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), a rigorous program that reviews production processes. The support core’s top layer features its largest component, an eight-inch pocketed coil system with the coils built into five zones to better suit the heavier parts of the body. These sturdy coils boost edge support and bounce while offering a reliable foundation for the comfort layers. The next part of the support core is one inch of dense polyfoam and a layer of organic cotton canvas that work in conjunction to serve as a shock-absorbing base.

In the first ten years, Brentwood Home will repair or replace a defective mattress, and the customer only has to pay for shipping. Starting in year 11, the customer pays 50% of their original purchase price as a repair or replacement cost, and that percentage increases by 5% per year. In years 21-25, the customer must pay 95% of their original purchase price.
