ORGANIC DUNLOP LATEX
Most bedding companies make their wedge pillows with polyurethane foam or synthetic gel memory foam. Not at Avocado. We craft our Organic Latex Wedge Pillow entirely from GOLS-certified organic and FSC (C156318) certified Dunlop latex that we source from organic rubber tree farms. Organic Dunlop latex provides best-in-class breathability, support, and durability — it’s also antimicrobial and bacteria-resistant. Even better, we process our latex in organic-certified facilities that are held to stringent standards.
BREATHABLE COTTON
We stitch our eco-friendly cover with GOTS-certified organic cotton. Inside, a breathable organic cotton liner keeps dust mites at bay. The layers wick away moisture better than anything synthetic. Organic cotton isn’t just a higher-functioning material. Our GOTS-certified organic cotton is held to a stricter environmental and social standard.
EASY TO CLEAN, REMOVABLE COVER
The pillow’s organic cotton cover features an easy-to-use zipper, making it simple to remove and wash. The organic materials also make it more resilient than plastic or silicone, so it’ll stand up to regular washes and inevitable stains and spills. Machine wash the cover in cold water and lay flat or hang to dry.

We're proud to be certified by UL Solutions for a landfill diversion rate of 85%. That means only 15% of our manufacturing waste ends up in the landfill — we upcycle or recycle the rest. Since we began Project Zero Waste in 2020, we've been a pioneer in the space, increasing our waste diversion rate by 33%. We are the first mattress and bedding company to achieve this.
