To clean your ResMed AirSense 11, follow these steps:
- Rinse the hose with water and mild soap
- Scrub the interior of the hose with a tube brush to remove debris

How to access your comfort settings on the AirSense 11:
On your AirSense 11 machine, use the touchscreen to go to My Options to see your current settings. From here, you can personalize your options.
Humidity Level The humidifier moistens the air and is designed to make your therapy more comfortable. With the Climate Control Auto setting, both temperature and humidity are automatically preset at levels designed for maximum comfort. If you have a ClimateLineAir™ heated tube, all you have to do is plug it in and press Start. Note: ClimateLineAir heated tubing is required to use Climate Control Auto.
You can also manually set the Humidity Level to Off or between 1 and 8, where 1 is the lowest humidity setting and 8 is the highest humidity setting.
If you’re getting a dry nose or mouth, turn up the humidity. If you’re getting any moisture in your mask, turn down the humidity.
How to adjust humidity: In My Options, select Humidity Level. Scroll and select the desired humidity level.
Ramp Time Ramp Time is the period during which the pressure increases from a low start airflow pressure to your prescribed treatment pressure. You can set your Ramp Time to Off, from 5 to 45 minutes or Auto. When Ramp Time is set to Auto, the device will detect when you have fallen asleep and then gradually increase to the prescribed treatment pressure.
How to adjust Ramp Time: In My Options, select Ramp Time and adjust to your preferred setting.
Make sure that Bluetooth® is enabled on your smartphone and then log in to the myAir app and follow the prompts to connect to the AirSense 11 machine. If you don’t see the four-digit key on the AirSense 11 screen, go to the Home menu and tap +More, and then tap myAir.
AirSense 11 operates at sound levels of about 27 dBA during sleep therapy operation which in comparison to other CPAP machines, can be considered to be very quiet.
Yes, the machine can work without water in the humidifier water chamber but you'll need to turn the humidification feature off in the "My Options" menu and insert the empty water chamber into the machine.
Yes. You must refill your humidification water chamber daily with distilled water and this is recommended not only for proper maintenance of your device but for overall health as well as overused water can breed microorganisms which can in turn, make you sick.

Automatic positive air pressure, or APAP, is an alternative to traditional continuous positive air pressure (CPAP) therapy. With APAP, your machine automatically adjusts pressure delivery based on your breathing patterns throughout the night, allowing you to inhale and exhale more easily. For many sleepers, APAP provides a more comfortable experience compared to CPAP therapy with fixed pressure levels.
ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tubing connects your APAP machine and face mask, providing an outlet for pressurized air to flow directly into your breathing passages. The tubing contains sensors that monitor temperature and humidity, and automatically adjusts these levels to prevent dry mouth and congestion. ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tubing is exclusively compatible with the ResMed AirSense 11.
myAir is a built-in virtual guide to help you use the ResMed AirSense 11 for the first time. You’ll follow myAir’s prompts through installation, operation, and data reporting. You can also use myAir to adjust the machine’s display.
The ResMed AirSense 11 produces 27 decibels (dBA) of noise at maximum volume. This is on par with the noise output of other CPAP machines, and is considered “whisper-quiet.”
The ResMed AirSense 11 is considered FAA-compliant, so you can use the device mid-flight. However, you should bring a letter from your doctor — some airlines require this before allowing passengers to use CPAP machines on planes. If you’re planning on a long flight, you should also request a seat near a power outlet to keep your device charged.

good, quiet efficient running CPAP
This is my first CPAP machine and I absolutely love it! It’s easy to set up and works great. I get a daily sleep report send straight to my phone via the app, the “Auto” settings are very comfortable and I don’t wake up with a dry mouth or have any water build up in my hose. I highly recommend this machine for first time users or someone who’s looking to upgrade from the current machine they use.
