Our American Academy of Sleep Medicine accredited Sleep Center houses ten beds and performs more than 2,000 sleep studies, providing sleep apnea treatment to more than 600 patients annually. || The Sleep Center, which is located in the Ambulatory Surgery Building next to the main hospital, is designed to make a patient’s stay as comfortable as possible. Each private room is decorated and furnished with many of the comforts of home. All rooms include a television, DVD player, private bathroom with shower, and an individually-controlled heat/AC unit. ||Under the direction of Dr. Riad Dakheel, a Board Certified Sleep Specialist, The Sleep Center is designed to conduct overnight and daytime studies to help diagnose a wide range of sleep disorders. These disorders include sleep apnea, narcolepsy, periodic limb movement disorder, restless leg syndrome and behavior disorders during sleep. For patient convenience, studies are conducted seven nights per week.||Doctors Community Hospital Sleep Center is also committed to further patient education.
