When it comes to sleep, there really is no place like home, according to the National Sleep Foundation’s 2012 Bedroom Poll. This is the only National Sleep Foundation poll to ask how fundamental elements of the bedroom contribute to sleep.
The poll results are striking and show that Americans love their bedrooms! The majority believe a comfortable mattress, pillows, sheets, and a dark room are important to getting a good night’s sleep. Most believe that their bedroom is better than a quality hotel room. More than half say they make their bed every day or almost every day!
The good news is that we can all make our bedrooms great. Having a comfortable, cool, clean and dark bedroom could help you get a better night’s sleep. Love your bedroom, and improve a third of your life.
