Sessions will highlight the intersection of current sleep research with public policy, including the effects of health care provider’s sleep on patient care, the impact of extending work hours, and work duration and hour of service safety-related issues for pilots, truckers, military personnel, and drivers’ safety. Confirmed speakers include representatives from the Occupational Safety & Health Administration, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board, National Transportation Safety Board, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, among others.

Throughout the conference, the Exhibit Hall will showcase the latest products and services from a variety of companies in the sleep field. Poster sessions will occur during breaks.
